Welcome to Sixth Grade. Our year has gone by fast. My students have had Social Studies with Mrs. Hovda for the first six weeks of school. Beginning October 11 they will stay with me for Science until the end of the Trimester.
Please, have your children read every night. AR is one-fourth of their Reading grade. Ask how many points they need for the Trimester and how many points they have. The AR grade will not show up in their Reading grade until the report card is issured.
In Science we will be studying plant and animal cells, and then begin the chapter on heredity.
